Abstract
The thesis proposed is that violence is intrinsic to human nature, as both the subject and society are shaped by it. As a structural element, violence cannot simply be eradicated or isolated, since such an attempt would itself constitute a violent act. Instead, it is necessary to develop a politics that constantly engages with the reality of violence and its irreducibility. From this perspective, it becomes possible to interpret the offender without conflating the criminal act with the person who commits it.
