Abstract
This contribution explores the concept of ‘predictive justice’, which has become established in legal doctrine, by highlighting its semantic ambiguity. Starting from this point, through a process of clarifying (disambiguation) the concept to show the ‘sense’, ‘mode’, and ‘foundation’ of the connection between justice and prediction, the author considers a reformulation of the concept, functional to the principle of legal certainty, to be appropriate for any further theoretical and practical development of the phenomenon.
