Abstract

The article - which discusses the recent volume edited by Maria Giulia Bernardini and Vincenzo Lorubbio - focuses on the nodal issue of the different conditions of vulnerability of people, in light of the profound transformations affecting the current era. Paying particular attention to the risks - more or less obvious - of violation the work in fact investigates the correlation existing between human rights and vulnerability in order to be able to detect the different conditions of vulnerability in which people find themselves, in different cultural, social, environmental contexts. The interaction between two different scientific fields allows the Authors to detect in a clear and precise way the problematic nodes connected to and underlying the relationship between vulnerability and human rights in order to envisage the adoption of appropriate tools to overcome the ineffectiveness of the protections offered by the legal systems to the different conditions of vulnerability.
