Abstract
The aim of this article is to systematize the current debate on digital hermeneutics based on the studies carried out by its author in recent years. In particular, the first part of the article describes five possible meanings of digital hermeneutics: deconstructive, epistemological, ontological, anthropological-existential and cultural. In the second part, the author focuses on the ontological meaning, and proposes his notion of “interpreting machines”.
Aristotle said that being is said in many ways. The same can be said of digital hermeneutics. This article only presents some of these ways, without excluding however that there are others, already explored or to be discovered
