Abstract

In the volume published shortly before his death, Con aprendido canto. Tradiciones poéticas y perspectivas ideológicas en el cancionero amoroso de Garcilaso de la Vega, Madrid, Iberoamericana, 2023, Antonio Gargano collected and organized his studies dedicated to Garcilaso de la Vega, a poet to whose work he dedicated an effort of extreme importance and scientific quality, fueled, moreover, by a relationship of vital implication. A brief review of it is made here, which is also a moving tribute to the deceased friend.
