Abstract
Starting from Eugeni Ors’ book Tina i la Guerra Gran, which was published in the “glosa” series of La Veu de Catalunya between 3 August 1914 and 2 January 1915 under the title Letres a Tina, and following some of Antonio Monegal’s reflections in El silencio de la guerra (Acantilado 2024), in this article I will compare Ors’ position on the war with that of the young Gaziel, who wrote a series of articles describing the war from a Parisian perspective, later published as París 1914. Diari d’un estudiant (1964). Both are representative of different literary techniques and ideological positions.
