Ensuring Blind Review

To ensure the integrity of the double-blind peer-review for submission to this journal, every effort should be made to prevent the authors and reviewers from knowing each other’s identity. Authors, editors and reviewers must check that the following steps have been taken with regard to the texts and ownership of the files uploaded onto the OJS platform:

- The authors of the document have deleted their names from the text, with only “Author” and year used in the references and footnotes, instead of the authors' complete name, article title, etc.

- No information that could reveal identity, affiliation, etc. of the authors and/or reviewers has been included in the text (therefore any references to titles of research projects or similar that could identify the authors and/or reviewers must also be removed)

- The authors of the document have removed any personal information from the file ownership by taking the following steps:

Microsoft Word for Windows:

  • Go to File
  • Select Info
  • Click on Check for Issues
  • Click on Inspect Document
  • In the Inspect Document dialogue box, select the check boxes to choose the type of hidden content that you want to inspect.
  • Click Remove All
  • Click Close
  • Save the document

Microsoft Word for MacOS:

  • Go to Tools
  • Click Protect Document
  • Select Remove personal information for this file when saving
  • Click OK and save the file
