„Diachrone Hierarchie“ in der Geschichtsschreibung. Geschichtstheoretische Kategorien Reinhart Kosellecks diskutiert im Lichte von Louis Dumont

Abstract

The text thematise the concept of Gleichzeigkeit des Ungleichzeitigen in the context of Reinhardt Kosellecks historical understanding complemented with the perspectives of the french anthropologist Louis Dumont. I discuss the accusations against Koselleck that he his ethnocentric since he in some of his writings creates a „diachronical hierarchy“ and that he denies other cultures to be contemporaneous. With Dumonts definition of hierarchy as the „encompassment of the contrary“ the text investigates the close relation between historical concepts, values and hierarchy.
