Percepire un concetto. Stilematica ed estetica degli albori

Abstract

This paper investigates the relationship between perception and concept in stylistics and aesthetics. Drawing on Andrea de Donato’s Morfogenesi del concetto, it introduces the stylematics, stylology, and aesthetics of the concept as tools for understanding the relationship between conceptual creation and the transformation of epistemic structures. Through a rereading of Kant and Baumgarten, it shows how the perception of the concept emerges in pre-Kantian aesthetics as the effect of a style capable of structurally reorganizing the discipline itself. The paper thus identifies an intermediate space between the sensible and the conceptual, and proposes individuation as a future path toward understanding the transcendental status of stylology.
