Abstract

A question neglected in recent times is the identification of some criteria for formulating a quality judgment on aesthetic texts, or at least with an aesthetic vocation. This is an extremely complex problem, which has involved various disciplines for decades, from aesthetics to sociology, from literary criticism to semiotics, without forgetting, at least from the second half of the twentieth century, mass media studies.
