Semiotica e «nuove narratologie»: un possibile dialogo metodologico
Abstract
In the last twenty years, what has been called a decisive "narrative turn" has occurred in the human sciences. This has led to an explosion of interest in the concept of narration in the most disparate fields, giving rise to a cultural phenomenon defined as "total narrativity" or "widespread narrativity". But, in this panorama of interest for narration, curiously the theories of the story, narratology and semiotics seem to be in crisis. The fashion of storytelling has in fact brought the theme of narrative to the center of attention in marketing, in the analysis of political discourse, in the medical field, and in many other disciplines. But this fashion does not include the most recent reflections of narratology and semiotics.
