The Space of the Future
Abstract
The paper investigates on the procedures of spatialization of the future, sometimes assuming a euphoric value (Eden) and sometimes a dysphoric one (think of the dystopias that various media report to us every day). And how the way of conceptualising the future can be associated with different expectations: on the one hand, a durationality made up of an eternal and timeless 'tomorrow', on the other, an incoativity, framed as sets of signals that give rise to a possibility, forms of causality that tend to be tamed into chains of randomness.
