Interview with Anna Belozorovitch

Abstract

In this text some concepts expressed by Anna Belozorovitch in the interview she did at the end of the Congress of Transculturality (University of Macerata April 7th/8th 2025) can be found. The influence of the different cultures on the poet’s literary production is highlighted. The 19th century Russian literature as well as Puskin’s poems played an important source of inspiration to her, both in content and form. The poem ‘L’uomo alla finestra’ is a clear example. A fundamental topic of her poetics is the act of waiting, an ontological dimension that characterizes the human being. The poet also quoted the book ‘Un posto nel mondo’ by Simona Miceli. Through the interviews it depicts the transcultural contribution of female writers of Eastern Europe who have been living at the time of the various communist dictatorships.
