Résumé
The paper examines the reception of Crocean aesthetics within Italian Neo-Scholastic philosophy, with particular attention to the positions of Emilio Chiocchetti and Francesco Olgiati, both professors at the Catholic University of Milan: the former dialogically open and constructive, fundamentally grounded in an Ockhamist epistemology; the latter sharply critical, structured upon a formalistically conceived Thomistic ontology.
