Resumen
The privilege of Music in the romantic aesthetics outcomes from the fact that it is considered as the origin of all artistic creation. In Music the spirit displays itself in the individual inner life. Nevertheless, no sound can be uttered or perceived but in the external space, that is to say in a relational mode. This kind of bond is reflected in the dialectic between the artist’s intentionality and the laws of the material which marks in such a peculiar way Neue Musik. From this delicate issue derives the paradoxical sonorous sensuosity in Schönberg’s and Webern’s works.
