Abstract
Whilst the art world chases market trends and the
glamour of major economic and cultural hubs, there are those who have chosen
a path that is diametrically opposed. Sabato Angiero, a former artist and
gallery owner by choice, does not operate in the heart of Naples but in Saviano, in
the province. His gallery is an outpost of cultural resistance, a
workshop where the purity of artistic exploration takes precedence over
commercial considerations. We met him to discuss his
bold vision, his role as a mentor and the future of free art.
