Abstract

This paper highlights the renewed centrality of the anthropological question in relationship to the articulation of the sensibility and intelligence of contemporary subjectivities. From this perspective, the tradition of twentieth-century philosophical anthropology, compared with Adorno’s still-relevant recognition of a profound crisis of the ‘historical individual’, can provide significant stimuli for developing research on the transformations of the present in a critical-radical direction.
