Abstract
Impact with tragic and reflection about human fragility, as well as a fresh and explicit concern for psychoanalysis, are important elements in the evolution that in the last two decades took Ricœur’s look increasingly towards the pre-predicative – that which is before, and beyond, all narrative. An evolution that will culminate in Memory, History, Forgetting and in the theme of translation. This work draws attention to the model character and the major role embodied in this route by three little and lesser-known texts, rich in psychoanalytic and psychiatric themes and references, which – for reasons detailed in the text – could not find a place even in Attorno alla psicoanalisi collection (expanded edition of Autour de la psychanalyse).
